When the top of the valve rotates, this allows you to adjust the spring tension for your application. The purpose of a BOV is not just to sound cool, but it is designed to release the pressure that is built up in the charge side of the system. The factory diverter valve system dumps this pressure back down into the intake pipe. This can cause turbulence to the impeller, slowing the spool of the turbo down and causing premature wear. The Agency Power blow off valve for the Polaris RZR can be used in conjunction with the stock turbo inlet pipe or any aftermarket turbo hose pipe that has a 1 inch BOV flange. Since the factory valve is a diverter valve and this new valve is designed to be 100 percent vent to atmosphere, we include a high-temp push on plug cover for the eliminated return hose.
